honey bunny

I'm working on some cards using the "Honey Bunny" set by Kitchen Sink Stamps, but I'm not finished yet and I wanted to share some color picks with my friend Liz -

I think Maria used some different colors on the bunny for her atc, but here's what I came up with...

step 1 Creamy Caramel

step 2 Creamy Caramel

step 3 Close to Cocoa

step 4 Versafine Vintage Sepia - (this is my favorite color so far for the eyes in the bunny and chick sets)

To line up the bunny images I found it easiest to use the ear lines.

Hope this is helpful for any "honey bunny" owners.

Cards to follow :)

my bird

Johanna had a fun project for us this month.  She sent us a little wooden bird by Provo Craft to work with.  I kinda cheated a little bit and didn't actually use him.  I just traced him, cut him out and decorated him.  Now I can use him again :)

For the sack, I punched out an egg shape and cut off the top half.  Then I stamped it with justjohanna's "lacy border" image, pierced some holes in it and tied it around the bird with some linen thread.

In the end, I decided to put him on a card.  I couldn't help myself, I love cards :)

jazzed!

I'm so happy right now :)  Today I spent a lot of time cleaning up my stamping space and as a result my mojo came back!  A clean table and organized supplies always makes me feel groovy and allows me to work without frustration.

This is what I came up with tonight...

It's a project for justjohanna.  We were asked to make a luggage tag favor for a wedding.  I'm pretty happy with how it came out :)
