After a year in the works, our house in New Hampshire is officially for sale. It's pretty bitter sweet for me, partly because of the big beautiful stamping room I'm giving up! All I have now is a little desk in our bedroom. It is so much more difficult to paper craft in a small space. Plus, it's damp and dusty which makes things challenging as well.
Here's some pictures from the listing -
It's a big, beautiful colonial on this amazing lot. I'll miss how pretty it is in the spring, summer and fall.
Here are some pictures of my craft room/play area for the kiddos -
I really loved that craft room :(
So here's hoping and praying we've made the right decision to sell our home and move to Maine. At some point I'll have to take some picture of our house here. It's a wee little house, only 700 square feet with no garage or basement, only a crawl space. Now that doesn't sound very enticing except it's beautifully designed and located in an amazing beach community. In fact, I can see the ocean from our 2nd floor bedroom, yeah... crazy. So for that, we are willing to sacrifice size and say goodbye to our big beautiful Chester home.
beautiful. good luck selling. hmm 700 square feet is tiny, but the beach...worth it. hope Maine was the right decision. Sounds like heaven to me.

Hey Tracy..hope the sale goes well! We were able to sell ours in about two months and although I now have a smaller stamping space we didn't have to sacrifice too much in our new place.

Tracy, I am so sorry that you are leaving your big beautiful home in NH. But to live so near to the ocean must be wonderful. I would do exactly what you are doing if given the chance. Good luck to you.

I can only imagine how hard it can be to leave behind a big stamp room, but I think your new local sounds like the perfect choice. They must say "location, location, location!" for a reason, right? Hope you're enjoying it more & more everyday & that your DH agrees to have a stamping shed/palace built for you-overlooking that beach view! Heehee ;O)

I know how difficult it can be to move .. especially when you feel like you're leaving so much 'behind'.
I'm hoping that you're happy with your decision now! Sounds like a delight to be near the beach for sure!

What a fabulous house - and can imagine it being such a wrench to move. I have had to downsize a number of times over the years and now live in a little bungalow in a lovely part of the country. Size doesn't always matter - and you can always have a studio in the garden - I have - and its great
Wishing you every happiness in your new home

WOW, Tracy! You have been on the move a lot -- amazing!!! What a beautiful home to leave, but what a wonderful place your new home sounds to be! Home is where the heart is, and your family -- enjoy!!!
